Who should attend?

If you are concerned that a loved one is at risk for overdosing on heroin or a prescription pain medication, this training is for you.

What does it cost?

The training is free to the public.

What will you learn?

Training Participant will learn:

  • Opioid types
  • How to recognize, respond to, and prevent opioid overdose
  • How to administer intra-nasal naloxone to reverse an overdose

What is Naloxone?

It is a prescription medication that reverses an opioid overdose.  It cannot be used to get high and is not addictive.

What will I get for completing the training?

You will receive 1 dose of intra-nasal naloxone
